The dome is made of a wire mesh secured on to a large wire rim covered in delicate brown raffia. The design is a fun, quirky & wonderful Christmas Pudding, with holly leaves & berries topped off with a lovely white icing.
Perfect for covering your tasty delights.
The dome is in great vintage condition but there are a few areas of fraying on the raffia around the wire rim & on the handle. If desired I am sure these could be stuck down, but I have not interfered with any repair work & left the dome as found. There is a slight misshapen area to the top of the dome, but the whole thing works perfectly well and does its job brilliantly.
