*SOLD* A remarkable reference book written by Edward Step F.L.S, ( 1855 – 1931 ) the renowned specialist in the fields of Botany, Zoology & Mycology.
This book, entitled, “Wild Flowers in their Natural Haunts” is believed to be a reprint from c1922 combining the original 2 volumes that were entitled “ Wild Flowers in their Natural Haunts Month by Month” which were printed in 1905.
The book has been well used over the years. Inside the front cover there is the name of the previous owner written in ink with the date “ June 1925”. Given that this book is not far from being 100 years old, evidence of wear & tear is in evidence.
There is some fraying around the spine & the corners of the hardback cover & some loosening of the pages from the binding. However, all the pages are intact with no rips or tears, & the print and the photographs are all bright and clear.
A real gem of a book.
