*SOLD* This is a truly lovely vintage book full to bursting with information & detail about Britain’s Wild Flowers.
Entitled “ Wild Flowers of the Wayside and Woodland”, this book is based upon the previous work of the renowned expert of Botany & Zoology, Edward Step , FLS.
The book was compiled by T H Scott & WJ Stokoe and printed by Warne & Co, with this particular edition being printed in 1955.
This delightful reference book is full of detail, explanations, illustrations, colour plates and the history of 762 species.
Considering its age, the book is in very good vintage condition with all the pages firmly attached to the spine. There is some discolouration to the sides and edges of the pages, no doubt by being thumbed through many times. The pages have no graffiti or rips. Unfortunately there is no dust cover with the book, but the hard back is in very good condition and still a lovely bright green – easy to find on your shelf!
A wonderful book to take pride of place on your book shelf, a lovely display item,
a teaching & learning piece or a wonderfully thoughtful gift.
