A really pretty & delightful tea cup and saucer, produced by the Bristol China Company.
The design is “ Tea Flower” and takes its inspiration for botanicals, flowers, fruits and garden insects. The design of this tea cup & saucer depicts roses, butterflies, berries & chamomile.
The saucer is a lovely heart shape with fluted edges & a little ridged divide through the middle of it. The one side of the divide it for placing the cup on top, the other side is for treats, slices of cake, biscuits, tasty nibbles. ( known as a Tennis Set)
It is good vintage condition with no chips but it has a fair degree of crazing to the surface though much use over the years. This however, does not take away from the real charm of this lovely piece of vintage homeware.
