The beautiful Set consists of a Cake Slice & Salad Tongs
The cake slice is Italian designed & made and stamped “ La S Marco” on the base of the handle. The top of the blade has a pretty floral design and the handle itself has an elegant design to it. The underside of the blade is plain.
The salad tongs have an ornate design of pears & grapes on their surface, with a pretty design along the handle. On the handle pivot it is marked “SILVERPLATE”
The hinge works perfectly, but there is a slight wobble which means the two plates don’t quite sit perfectly on top of one another. However, the item is still in good working order. Both pieces are in good vintage condition but both do have some areas of tarnishing which can easily be polished out if desired.
