This Buffet Plate provides a space for your cup of tea to stand on whilst leaving plenty of room for your tasty cakes, pastries, sandwiches etc, allowing one hand to hold the plate whilst you use the other to serve yourself.
The plate is circular in shape and has a little “extra” to the shape that acts as a handle. It is in the “Berkeley” pattern which consists of a very attractive floral design and is elegantly finished off with a gold gilt edge to the rim of the plate & the tea cup.
Afternoon teas just got better!
The piece is in fantastic vintage condition with no chips or scratches. The colours are still bright & clear & there is very little rubbing to the gilt edging.
The buffet plate would make a very welcome addition to a collection you may have of Royal Albert, a fabulous piece of serving ware or a very impressive gift for a lover of all things vintage.
