*SOLD* A wonderful pair of vintage pinking shears that would make a lovely addition to your sewing basket & haberdashery collection.
The shears come in their original box and are ready for some zig-zag action.
The blades are clean & sharp and in perfect working order. They open and close neatly and smoothly. The scissors are in good vintage condition with some minor marks on the stainless steel elements. The painted black handles do have some age related rubbing to them , so in some parts the stainless steel underneath the paint can be seen.
The original box has however been very well used and there are many signs of this. The printed words “ PINKING SHEARS” are still visible in gold but the top of the lid, the base, corners , sides, edges , inside and outside are a little frayed , split and tired. However, despite this rather long list, the box still creates a good home for the pinking shears.
