There is so much to see in each picture, which allows for further discussion of the book’s content. The story is intriguing and captivating, exciting and magical. Rather splendidly the book has “ Nature Notes” of each of the creatures at the back adding an educational element.
From Gladflies to Otters, to Foxes, Sand Lizards & Money Spiders, there is a plethora of the worlds creatures to investigate and explore.
This copy was published in 1973 and is very good vintage condition. The pages are all intact and tightly bound to the spine with no rips, tears or graffiti. The corners of the cover do slightly bend and there are a few indents to the surface, but given the book is nearly 50 years old it is in great condition.
A truly delightful story to be lapped up & read by all ages.
