The dish is of a lovely warm brown colour which adds a certain warmth to it, with the piece consisting of two parts, the plate and the lid. The lid has a simple curved handle.

This butter dish can be added to a collection of Denby pieces or could be the first in a new collection.
It is in remarkable vintage condition with no chips or scratches.
