The colander is tin lined, has two brass handles attached by copper rivets & three brass legs with claw feet.
The elements all add a real charm, rusticness & warmth to the piece.
(There is an etching of a chalice & fork on the side of the copper bowl, which simply means is is approved for use with food.)
The colander is in good vintage condition, but there are areas of wear & tear, namely with some patina and rubbing of the copper & marks within the tin coated lining. It has not been cleaned up but am sure it would polish up a treat if desired.
A lovely addition to your stylish kitchen. Another piece of a copper kitchenware collection or a lovely anniversary or house warming gift.
