A fabulously charming vintage copper bed warming pan – I wonder what stories it could tell?
The pan has a wonderful circular shape, with stylish grooves around the top, sides & on the base. The hole for pouring in the water is secured by a brass cap & the carry handle / hanging hook is also made from brass.
The brass cap has some wording which has been rubbed away over the years but it would have originally read “ IMPORTANT FILL FULL”
The warming pan has been well used over the years and this in evident in a number of places. There is much patina to the side grooves and in & around the handle & cap. There are a number of dinks & dents to the surface and some scratches here & there. These imperfections are to be expected but in no way distract from the beauty, charm and warmth of the pan.
I cannot see any holes but I would not be able to 100% say if it would be ok to use as it was originally intended. It would however make a fabulous display piece in your country kitchen, fireplace or bathroom. The pan would also look stunning as a prop piece in a business setting.

This wonderful pan would also make a fabulous anniversary present for “Copper” or a charming house “warming” present.
