* SOLD * A gorgeous vintage candle scissor snuffer & tray, full of charm and style , ready to take pride of place in your home.
Both pieces have lovely ornate, decorative detailing to them and are fully fit for purpose.
The snuffer opens and shuts easily, with the box closing as required. Three little feet act as a stand for the snuffer, with the pointy end still being reasonably pointy.
There is no clear indication of the metal but the tray does show signs that it could be copper on silver plate, with the scissors being silver plate.
This wonderful set has been well used over the years and therefore there are the expected signs of wear and tear, which includes some tarnishing of the metal, darkening within the box, patina on the tray etc – but overall the pieces are in good vintage condition. There are even some remnants of wax around the box part of the snuffer which I have left alone.
Treat yourself to this beautiful set, use it as intended , as a decor piece or a fabulous gift for a very lucky someone.
