A truly beautiful set of serving tongs that would look simply stunning on your stylish dining table for many an occasion.
The tongs have a very pretty ornate engraved pattern along the top half of the handles & the top & bottom of the base plate. Engraved onto the handle pivot is the word SILVERPLATE.
Perfect for lifting cakes & sandwiches onto your plate or serving others, these tongs would look the business at an Afternoon Tea Party, Vintage Themed Wedding or any Dining Function.
These pretty tongs would also make a fabulous gift for a very lucky someone.
The tongs are in fantastic condition with no marks, scratches or signs of age to the silver plate. The hinge is very slightly loose however but I have not attempted to tighten it up for fear of scratching or damaging this beautiful piece of vintage flatware. The tongs are still in fabulous working order.
