An incredible piece of Hollinshead & Kirkham Tunstall ( H&K) Vintage Tableware.
The Cake or Sandwich Plate we have here is so pretty with a very stylish central floral pattern surrounded by a stunning gilt flower design & topped off with a gold trim.
The central floral design has beautiful, elegant hues & this piece of vintage tableware really would look stylish serving tasty cakes or delicious sandwiches.
A lovely item for your home, a fabulous piece of serving ware at an Afternoon Tea Party, Christening or Wedding Celebration.
The plate measures at approx 25 x 25 cm & has a lovely brass “T” style handle which is securely fitted to the base & is in excellent working order. The Makers mark is clearly stamped on the underside of the base & signifies that this particular plate was made between 1954 & 1956.
Considering its wonderful vintage age its quite remarkable the fabulous condition this plate is in. There are no chips or scratches but there is some very slight rubbing of the gilt trim & surface crazing to the main plate. However, the floral pattern & the gilt design surrounding it has no rubbing & is intact.
A very pretty piece of vintage tableware for you or a lovely thoughtful gift for a lover of all things vintage.
