Vintage 1970’s Macrame Tote Bag

22/10/2020 By Emma Jervis

*SOLD* Step back into the 70’s & then step out with this incredible retro tote bag.

The bag is created using the textile based technique of macrame, which uses jute, hemp or yarn within such pieces.

This wonderfully retro example of women’s accessories is stylishly completed with two wooden bar handles.

Handmade & beautiful, this tote bag would certainly add style and sophistication to any outfit you wore.

The bag could also be used within the home as a quirky storage feature for knitting patterns, wool & knitting needles, hanging up in your bedroom storing belts & ties or within the bathroom holding face flannels.

In fabulous condition, with tight binding & no fraying.

Dimensions – 42 cm long ( incorporating the handles ) & 38 cm wide at the bottom of the bag ( approximately)

A great gift idea for a lover of vintage accessories, ladies bags and vintage macrame.
