Lose yourself in the adventures & moral tales of Mole, Ratty, Badger & Mr Toad in the classic story of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows.
This is the 21st edition & was published by Methuen & Co Ltd London in 1926 , making it almost 100 years old. As with the earlier editions of this novel, the book is not illustrated.
The book’s hardcover is blue cloth bound with gilt lettering for the title, author & publisher. The pages are all attached to the spine and clearly legible – the book comes with its original dust cover.
Beacuse of the age of the book there are the expected signs of wear & tear – the pages have edge wear, mottling to the inside cover boards, slight turning on the edges to the cover boards, mottling, rips and discolouration to the dust cover – some of the pages are slightly angled towards the spine but they all turn and read as normal – there is some writing in pencil to the front blank page.
Despite the list the book is in good , almost antique condition and is still a treat to have sitting on your book case.
A gift, an addition to your book collection , a display or prop piece.
