*SOLD* A rather stunning vintage ice bucket oozing in style & elegance.
Produced by Gibson of Staffordshire, England , this amazing piece of vintage barware has been beautifully designed.
Made from a red/brown stoneware, the ice bucket has its surface painted in a fabulous gold gilt which has a blue ceramic band wrapped around the top section.
This then has a stunning neo classical creamy white relief work designed onto it. The relief depicts Roman / Greek figures, cherubs & trees.
An attractive gold metal handle completes the look.
The ice bucket is in good vintage condition, although there are a few areas of tarnishing on the metal handle and some rubbing of the gold gilt in places. The lid has some areas of wear of the gold gilt as well.
All this being said, the ice bucket is truly wonderful and would look incredible on a drinks cabinet, drinks trolley, side board, dresser etc. The piece would also make a fabulous addition to a collection of Gibson Homeware.
