The brass candlestick holders are of a fabulous solid weight & stand proudly at 19 cm in height.
There is evidence of good use over the years mainly inside the holder where there are remaining bits of wax and the expected patina. One of the holders has a dent to the rim which means the top of the holder is not a complete circle shape but rather a little wonky in one area.
However the holder still holds a candle perfectly as this slight damage does not interfere with the workings of the piece. Both candlestick holders have a few little scratches, but this adds to the charm of the pair.
