Produced by Swinnertons of England, these delicately designed plates are a real gem. The set depicts the “Hampton Ivory Old England Garden” scene , which features a stunning thatched cottage in the background surrounded by traditional cottage garden flowers.
The plates are 8 sided, adding to their charm & are elegantly finished off with a tan coloured trim.
They are in fabulous vintage condition with very little crazing, no chips or cracks.
5 of the plates measure 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm, but the 6th one is a little off & measures 14 x 14 cm ( the last picture shows the two sizes side by side. Very little difference, but worth a mention)
A delightful set to add to a collection of Swinnerton tableware, the first pieces of a new one, perfect accompaniments for a wedding party, afternoon tea or a stylish dining event.
