Beautifully crafted with highly desirable and durable, robust copper, these pans also feature a tin lining. The idea behind the lining is to help prevent the copper reacting with acidic foods during cooking. The stylish cast iron handles are secured in place with copper rivets.
The pans graduate in size and stack neatly inside each other – the smallest pan measures 6 cm in diameter , with the other pans measuring 7cm, 8 cm, 9 cm, with the largest pan completing the set & measuring 10 cm in diameter.
The complete set weighs in at 545 grans.
These pans are beautiful & are fantastic for cooking up soufflés, puddings, & sauces & would have been used within restaurant kitchens to make delights for hungry customers.
Believed to have been made in France, the pans are in fabulous Vintage condition, especially when you consider their age and the amount of use they have had.
There are a few little areas where there is evidence of usage but the set is in excellent working order & totally fit for purpose.
