What a find!
A totally charming trinket pot in the shape of a duck, made in stunning pewter with elegant brass trimming detail.
The brass detail is found on the wings, tail feather, beak, the webbed feet & eyes, & also around the bottom edge of the base.
The dish splits into two pieces, with the base ready to keep your small treasures, rings, brooches etc inside.
Overall the trinket pot is in very good condition but there is some tarnishing to the pewter and a few marks to the surface in places. However, these issues are minimal and this wonderful quirky piece of homeware would look a delight on your dressing table or bathroom window sill.
The makers sticker is missing from the underside of the base but this piece is believed to have been made in Hong Kong.
