This fabulous long handled, brass, three pronged fork is a delightful accompaniment to your fireside , indoors or outside.
The fork has a delightful twisted design along the shaft leading to the stylish 3 prongs at one end.
The handle part of the fork normally has a solid brass figure or a decorative chain etc to top it off, but this fork doesn’t have one unfortunately.
I am not sure whether it didn’t originally ( quite unlikely) or it has been broken off. This sadly means there is no chain or hook to hang the fork up, so the fork would have to lie down flat, be stored in a stylish basket, or propped up.
This missing element does not take away the beauty of the piece or prevent it from being fit for purpose. It is still rather delightful and in good vintage condition.
The fork has tarnishing but would polish up a treat if desired. .
