Vintage Liberty of London Side Plates

28/04/2022 By Emma Jervis

*SOLD* A lovely Set of 3 Mason’s Ironstone Side Plates, perfect for serving up tasty sandwiches, nibbles, cakes and pastries – ideal for Afternoon Tea parties or the upcoming Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The plates are designed in the Liberty of London “Ianthe” pattern. The Ianthe pattern was originally created as a wallpaper border by the French artist Rene Beauclair in 1902 & subsequently used by Liberty of London in their pieces.

The plates have an Art Nouveau style to their design and are completed with a gorgeous gold gilt edging.

They are in good vintage condition with the pastel colours still clear and very little rubbing to the gilt edging.

Dimensions –

17 cm in diameter.
