The jar has a simple but pretty cut class design around the sides with a pressed glass base. The lid is made of metal & has integrated tongs which, when squeezed together act as a clamp for lifting & holding the sugar cubes. The lid simply sits on top of the rim of the jar, rather than screws onto it.
The jar is in good vintage condition with no chips to the glass. The lid is also in a good overall condition with only a few spot marks to the metal top . These issues are minimal.
