*SOLD* A truly stunning vintage tea set compromising of a tea pot, double handled sugar bowl & a milk/creamer jug.
The set is decorated with heavy silver gilding & an ivory hand painted pattern over the surface.
The design depicts mountain tops, with floral sweeps and on the tea pot, what appears to be a dragonfly.
Given its age, the whole set is in good vintage condition. The silver gilding & the ivory paintwork is still clear, vivid and bright & there is no staining to the interior of the teapot. There are however areas of age related crazing to the outer surface and the interior of all 3 items.
That being said the tea set is a real stunner and sure to add a real sense of style to your home.
