A delightful duo of vintage drink ware, perfect for displaying bottles of your favourite tipple.
This lovely set consists of a weaved wire basket & a silver plated wine bottle coaster. (They are not matching pieces as such but simply put together to create a useful drink ware set)
The silver metal holder is created from weaved wire , forming a basket with a rope effect handle. It is in very good vintage condition & perfectly holds a standard bottle of wine. Through research it most likely dates from the 1950’s / 60’s & could quite possibly be French ( but there are no markings to confirm this )
The wine bottle coaster is silver plated with a wooden base and a very attractive and intricate grape vine design around the sides. The base underneath is also wooden. There were originally 3 little protective stoppers on the base, but these have sadly run the test of time and are slightly damaged. There are areas within the internal part of the coaster that show signs of wear & tear.
The coaster has a diameter of 10 cm and stands at 5.5 cm in height.
The perfect pair of vintage drink ware pieces, ready to sit upon your sideboard or drinks cabinet.
