The planter has been well used & loved over the years and there are signs of this with patina and tarnishing to the surface, mostly within the planter’s bowl. On the whole this wonderful piece of vintage brass ware is in very good vintage condition and has a wonderful appeal to it.
I have not polished up the surface as I think it looks magnificent in all its vintage glory but I am sure it would buff up a treat if desired.
