*SOLD* A rather stunning vintage heavy metal inkwell & stand, Art Nouveau in design which adds style and sophistication.
The inkwell has a lovely curved edge with a pretty floral design & bow. It still has its original ink pot that has a piece cut out of the rim allowing the pot to sit neatly and the lid to shut properly.
The inkwell and stand is believed to be of a cast metal, but could quite possibly be pewter. There are no makers marks to confirm this however.
It is in good vintage condition but there are the expected areas of tarnishing to the metal. The lid opens and stays open, but there is a slight wobble to the hinge. These issues are small and do not take away from the real charm of this lovely piece of vintage office decor.
A wonderful addition to your office, work space, business setting or this inkwell would make a great display piece or a very thoughtful gift for a lover of all things vintage.
