A beautiful Set of 6 Antique Silver Plated Fish Knives ready to be used with your tasty fish suppers.
The knives are stamped “ A&D S” with an Hourglass Symbol on the reverse of the handle. This information signifies the knives were produced in Sheffield, England by Charles James Allen & Sidney Darwin around the 1890’s, making this Set magnificently vintage & full of history.
They all have an elegant decorative design on the base of the blade & an initialed letter “W” to the top of the handle.
Perfectly shaped in the traditional fish knife style and still having a rather sharp pointy tip to the blade, these knives are a real delight and a great addition to your vintage cutlery.
They are all in very good vintage condition considering their age and the amount of times they have been used, but they do have the expected areas of wear & tear shown in some scuffs, specs & scratches.
However, these are minimal and do not in any any detract form their sheer beauty, warmth & desirability.
