A delightful Set of 4 Retro Egg Cups created by Palissy Pottery of Stoke on Trent, England.
The cups are designed with the “Contessa” pattern.
The egg cups feature only the floral part of the Contessa pattern. The pattern in its entirety includes Birds, leaves, flowers , green & black triangles.
They are all in very good vintage condition, with the pattern being bright & clean. There is some evidence of grazing to the surface , but this in minimal.
The cups have the Makers mark stamped on the base.
A perfect addition to your stylish kitchen table, fabulous for any collection of Palissy you may have or the set would make a fabulous gift.
